http://www.vitae.ac.uk/ Is supported by the RCUK and a good place for the lowdown on policy or finding a Grad School
http://doctoralschool.wordpress.com/ Mainted by Sarah Robins-Hobden (@SarahR_H), the University of Sussex Doctoral School blog is designed for research staff as well as doctoral researchers. Posts cover a multitude of research-related material, from conference calls for papers, training and development opportunities, through to researcher experiences in the form of guest posts or audio and transcripts.
